Infatuation
Infatuation
Restless slumber
Prevailing darkness
Tugging at my mind.
Hope vanquished, faith remains
Slipping away unto a land of
Nothingness.
Personal creations
Dancing in the abyss
Enveloped in midnight
Yet crystal clear.
Where have they gone?
Woken again
By unheard voices
Deafening silence
Flows through the room.
Drifting into sleep
Peaceful outside
Peaceful within.
Worries vanish
Fears disappear.
The cycle beings again.

I don't really understand where the title of this fits in with the actual poem. can u give us some insight into what your inspiration to writing this was.
-
I love your poem. It's well good. Infatuation means like love but it's not actually love. You think it's love. Sumin' along those lines.
-
Infatuation does not have to do with one single object, but with many. Obessive over lifes complexities can create a cloud of lingering darkness that ones mind tries to consume and understand. I think this is the "jist" of his poem.
-
It is about a restless night sleep caused by extreame infatuation. The poem itself is about a singular awakenening during that night.

See I did finally read it! As always your talent astounds me.
