do i or dont i ????

I have been split with my ex partner for over a year now due to his paranoia and aggressive, womanising ways but since we have split hes been telling me that he has changed and he isnt the same man as he was back then and wants us to try again. I still love him and would love to give him another chance but he has had chances before and i have finished wit him a number of times and im worried that its all going to happen again! I dont know what to do i know im miserable without him and i have started a new life for myself and kids and i dont wanna go back and upset it all what should i do???

ehhhh, unless he's been to therapy or something, it's unlikely he's really 'changed' is any fashion. A year isn't a long time.
Now if this were 5 or 10 years, then I think it would be worth thinking about.
