Coming soon
Well, I have had quite a year so far that it would be a long list, If I mentioned it all.
Anyways, I've posted before with this russian girl from Lavalife that messaged and that I've talked too for 1 month wanting to meet me.
She had initially asked me to borrow ( take ) money from me to use towards her visa, so she could come to study here.
I told her that I don't trust her enough yet and I think I right to make that assumption, since she still lives in Russia.
She got angry at me for me, when I've done nothing wrong and thought it was offensive that I didn't trust her yet.
How can you assume you can trust someone before even meeting them? It just doesn't make sense.
Well, she just e-mailed me that she has enough for her trip after selling her fur coat and glad that it worked itself out.
P.S. She's coming in 2 weeks - 1 month, and would at least meet her, to see how she is like and If anything can develop.
Opportunities don't come easily, and I'm still going to be defensive, but at least give her a chance to show me how she is like and telling the truth.

It's a good thing she didn't sucker you into that one. Be careful with this one Kromat, I suspect gold-digging activity up ahead.
It'd be years before I trusted ANYONE with my money.
-
I'm the same way, I would only trust my family and current friends with my money.
If I find anything suspicious, I'll pull the plug.
Once I meet, it'll become clearer how she truly is.
-
Yep. Glad you're getting a chance to meet some women though. Hope it turns out the best for ya.
-
Meeting and talking to women is not the problem i have, it's them giving me a chance to show them how I truly am.
-
If she shows up at all, she will probably call you from the airport demanding money for customs, or some such nonsense. Be really careful. I wouldn't trust a foreign girl with my money for a loooooonngg time... and I mean many YEARS.
-
Thanks, all advice is helpful in these types of situations.
-
It definitely doesn't help that she not only asked for money before meeting her, but got irritated with you when you said you weren't going to give her any.
-
did she want you to take a loan out to give her the money or did she want you to buy the ticket?
-
She also sold her fur coat? Don't people that have lots of money usually get fur coats? Sounds like she is a money hole to me.
-
she wanted me to borrow her money for her visa, this whole situation is so random and awkward that it has a big chance of not working out.
Why would someone buy a fur coat, when they are in need of someones help and can't afford to spend money like this?
I'll just meet her regardless, to see what the whole story is and get her to be honest with me, because I won't put up with this shit.
-
She doesn't have a fur coat. She wants to make you feel bad for not giving her money. And right before the trip she's going to have an accident. She'll break her ankle. Since, thanks to you, she all ready sold her fur coat, she won't be able to afford the medical bills and she'll desperately need you to wire cash.
-
I won't give her the chance, and If she's going to be like that, she's on her own.

Ya, damn russians.
I'll keep you updated for the next month as to what happens, and If I plan on meeting her.
