I have Verizon service and a casio exilim. My only complaint is that the battery life isn't that great. Stick with the basic cell phone and your bills shouldn't be too high. I only use it for phone calls and SMS, but it also comes in handy for taking pics because my digital camera is broken.
that the thing, i have an Iphone now, and am loving it, but service sucks and pricey. I heard good reviews on verizon and T-mobile.Quote:

Iphones and smart phones are great if you can fork out $100+ per month for bills. The only problem with Verizon is that they sometimes suck with the math and make mistakes in the billing, so always check the balances and make sure you're paying the right amount.
i am now paying $220 for 4 phones, and hope to get it under $200Quote:

Ummm... what does the monthly bill have to do with the phone you have?? I have a smartphone and my monthly bill is like 2$/month.
Isn't it prepaid service, though?Quote:

American service providers apparently love to assrape their customers.
Not prepaid, I have a contract and they send the bill every month.Quote:

I agree judging for what I've seen... you guys get charged for everything, we don't get charged for receiving calls/sms or anything... I wouldn't be surprised they charge you for taking pictures with your phone lol.Quote:

That's how it should be. My plan has unlimited SMS and 200 minutes/month (but if I go over that, my bills can get pretty spendy) My bills usually don't go over $40.Quote:

I'm on 3 network - Nokia phone, pay as I go :)
300 free texts a month, free 3 to 3 calls and free internet for a month....and all if I top up just ten pounds a month :)
Robot what company do you have lol? My bf took Iphone 4 from Vodafone in Spain, had a battery bug from the beginning, gave it to repair, had no phone for almost a month, needed to pay for it ,and he got his Iphone back, unrepaired ;) And he pays pretty much.
I'm on Simyo, I got my phone in the UK though, so if it breaks I've got to fix it myself or send it to the UK, which is a pain.Quote:
