Actually some ecologist believe we are already in the point of no return and no matter what we do, this planet is doomed.
when we start drilling in alaska we'll be bringing this problem to the last frontier.

Look at the set up and execution... it's tailored. Fed troops being sent to, "make sure it's done right"... 45-90 day eta till capping with increasingly heightened leakage levels....prior calamity zone with Fed troops, etc etc etc...

While I am not really one to argue with environmentalists, we would be crippled as a nation and world without oil.
There are demons we can't live without.
I am fascinated by oil rigs and all the technology behind them and how they drill.
