Not the normal type of relationship-y advice sought

Heya, I think I missed a step. Went straight for making a thread without introducing meself.

I'm 21, girl, studying full time at uni. Met my bf at my part time retail place, he's there full time. Been together for 9 months. Just have a little niggly feeling that I've made a thread about. We generally have loads of fun together so I hope I won't be making too many panicky paranoid threads :S

We're a bit different from the regular couple in the sense that I have to keep him a secret from my family as they'e practising muslim and I don't have the guts to say I'm rejecting it. More because I know the consequences will be bad, so hopefully I will when i'm more financially independent. On the other hand, I've met his parents several times etc. He's always been very patient and loving towards me because it's my first relationship ever. So he's quite gentlemanly in that way.
