What is wrong with him ? (shy guys) HELP

Hey everyone :) !

Sorry this is a bit long...

So I've been liking this guy for a year now. He definitely knows I like him as well, because we had been texting for over 8 months, but we've never talked in person.. (even though we were in the same school, I know ridiculous right, but I was way too shy and intimidated to go up to him..) And it's been about 4 months that we haven't been talking at all, because I left for an internship in another country, and I kind of tried to forget about him because no one is ever going to do the first step. But now I'm back and I was hoping to make things move a little !

BUT the thing is, is I've never known what his real feelings for me were.. He told me multiple times that he found me attractive and stuff but never asked me out or said hi to me at school, he would just stare from afar and sometimes he smiled, and his friends would all look at me, or point at me, and then talk, and laugh.
My friends say he's shy, but he really isn't, he's got loads of friends that are girls, he very outgoing and friendly to everyone, but when it comes to me, he doesn't say A WORD to me.

2 days ago I was at the club, he was there, and at first he was being a complete a**hole, totally ignoring me, trying to make me jealous by talking about other girls in front of me, and hugging them, but when he saw that I was not really paying attention he stopped.
Then he was "accidentally" like bumping/pushing into me, and glancing at me when I was far away.
After, the club was about to close and me and my friend had no ride to get home, so my friend who is good friends with him asked him if he could bring us back he said yes. And on the ride home, I put my hand on the edge of the car and he moved his closer to mine, and touched it (I know this wasn't in my head, and not being paranoid, he really did move it on purpose to touch mine), this guy is really a mind f***, he acts like he doesn't care, but I really feel like he does, but I'm asking myself all these questions : If he did actually care, maybe he would send me a text or actually talk to me like a normal human being, but then I tell myself that even if I'm head over heels for him I'm not doing anything either SO I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO !

What the heck is wrong with him, is he just shy, or does he not like me ? What should I do, should I talk to him or not ? Should I just forget him ?

He's not shy, he wants to get laid. "This guy really is a mind f*ck." Of course he is! He's a man, and he's doing it on purpose to get your attention. As if you can't see through this facade. I guess these things are more obvious to an outside perspective. To be perfectly honest, it sounds like he wants to get in your pants, and that's about it.

Haha you would think that, but I already tested him a lot of times, like sometimes I would flirt hardcore with him and kind of go outta line, and he would flirt back but would always change subjects. I also once invited him over at night and it was pretty clear that if he came we would have sex, but he never did.

I stand by my opinion. I have 5 years experience over you. I've dealt with every type of man there is to deal with. But okay, good luck lol.

Lol I'm not saying you're wrong, I'm just telling you facts, he could've had sex with me a lot of times, I wouldn't have said no, and yet nothing has ever happened in over a year.

So what's your question?

Basically does he like me or not ? Should I try talking to him or will he reject me ?

I am wondering how you get his phone number, if he is shy and you don't talk. I think this is like a game. And after one year, at the same point... hmm
If you are really interested, you need to act and know where you are.
Night Club is not the best place to know someone well. Why not texting (as you don't talk) and invite for a cimema/restaurant? Just a date you and him and see if first, he accepts and 2ndo what he will say during the date. Is he interested to you? Nobody in this website will be able to say if he likes you or not. It is only him! ask the right person by going out with for example.

I don't think he is shy if he is hugging and flirting with other girls and playing weird games with you at the same time, has a bit of playa in him, maybe and he likes the female attention he gets from you and others. If he is giving you any attention it would be because he is attracted to you and possibly interested but if he'd rather play games then come right out and say so, why bother with him while he is in game playing mode.

and also he might be a bit immature to play games. Sorry to say. This is just for you to not waste your time, except if you are really really but really interested. :-)
