How to Persuade Girl to go to Police - Stalker

This is a followup from my last thread- to anyone who read it. But, to recap, this girl I have been dating for four months (though we have gotten pretty close in terms of our mental relationship- not physically) is being stalked by an individual. Seeing as how going to the police is the best course of action, I approached her about it. She refused, saying that she was still "Okay". I believe that she doesn't want repercussions affecting her life, such as taking time out of her day/week to deal with the problem, or because she is afraid of what her interactions with this stalker will be like if the police fail to dissuade him from continuing to stalk her (he frequents her workplace). Either way, I do not agree with her reasons, and I feel that going to the police is necessary. What can I say, or do to persuade her to get help from professional law management officers? This is becoming stressful to worry about, and I really would like some help. I have considered directly asking her the next time an incident happens to straight up go to the police, or I would go to the police for her (I guess, in the end getting her involved).

Phozen, it sounds to me like this 'stalker' worries you more than it worries her. She's not going to do anything about it until it *really* starts to bother her

Other than visiting her at work, what is he doing which makes you uneasy? Has he threatened her? Hacked her mail? Turned up at places she's socialising at when nobody could have told him where she is?

The stalker has indeed been stalking her quite actively. In addition to pestering her at work, he has sent her virtual messages, followed her in his car once while she was walking home, and even touched her (though not excessively) the one time they were alone (the stalker had been waiting for her on the street she usually takes to go home. I personally believe that this warrants outside help at the very least, but she still says otherwise.

I don't think that at all. I think that she's seeing this guy and/or she's enjoying his attention and therefore she doesn't want you interfering in her jazzy.

Instead of going to the police, why don't you hire a private detective and get to the bottom of THEIR interactions and find out what this guy is all about at the same time?

She's obviously NOT worried about the attention so why are you?

She already said she is fine. She's not your gf so I suggest you back off

Maybe she doesn't see them as a stalker like you do or she'd be more concerned about her safety and contact your authorities.

If she truly felt like she was under threat, she would need no prompting to go to the cops. I was stalked by a guy with schizophrenia...it was the kind of creepy that you don't hesitate going to the cops - you do it because you're actually scared you'll end up in a ditch somewhere, possibly dismembered.

Gallant of you to be protective but other than suggesting actions on her part, there really isn't much else you can do except continue being her friend..

The choice is hers. Perhaps she hasn't felt her spidey sense go on high alert yet but perhaps one day she will. Hopefully this guy isn't dangerous. Maybe a little off but hopefully harmless. Again, nice of you being so protective.
Perhaps she's in that, 'ignorance is bliss' mode.
If she truly becomes afraid, she will call the police or grab a baseball bat and show what for
