So Close Yet So Far Away

Only being able to admire from a distance,
Seems to hurt so much inside.
Talking to that special someone and you can't even finish a sentence,
Even if your able to take them aside,
What would you say,
How would you act,
Would you allow youself to feel like this day by day.
When possibly you know the true fact.
That she may like you,
or even possibly love you.
And not knowing that she may like you too,
Not know if she wants to pursue.
but not being able to feel that love,
takes its toll on that person.
Seeing them fly from your hands like a dove,
And then having a feeling of desertion.
it all feels so bad,
and no one likes it.
But you can't get mad,
and throw a fit.
