In a relationship when, if ever is it okay to lie?
When would you be more apt to lie in a relationship? To save yourself or to save your mate?
in attempt to keep surprise birthday parties a surprise.
i seriously see no use/need to lie unless it is something like that ^^
i don't lie but i am very incognito with some things i say.
only when your lover asks if you love them right in the middle of sex and you're about to cum.

If you have to lie, you're doing something wrong. What kind of lies are we talking about, here?
The lies like the ones said at the beginning and middle of a relationship. The ones that really matter on how much into each other you are. Are you going to spend the rest of you life with me? Do you really love me more than life?
Heh, I feel sorry for anybody who's pressed to answer questions like that. It's just setting up for disappointment.Quote:

Because I never made them.
Because I'm not an idiot.
There's the truth in my truth.
I never made any promises or dreams in my relationship. I don't see lying as a problem if your 100% sure someone can't find out or be harmed. Example: My girlfriend asked to hang out one day I really didn't want to because I was going to a movie with a couple friends from work. I told her I was to tired after work. Something like that I personally don't feel bad for. It's not bad to lie to someone if it does not harm them. That's how I see it.
