New member here...hello!

I'm 25 years old, graduated from college 2 years ago and have been working for my university since graduation. I don't get paid much at all, but am hoping that I get the raise my boss briefly mentioned as a possibility a few days ago...cross fingers!!!

I love my parents very much, but wish that they had been a happier couple growing up, it has created a huge strain on me and my relationships.

I have loads of debt from school loans, I have a 98 Honda Accord that still goes, but probably not for much longer. I used to commute an hour to and from work everyday until I moved into an apartment with my boyfriend last year.

I have been dating my boyfriend for 4 years and love him very much, but am feeling more and more worried about what is in the cards for us. We fight a lot, I am very emotional, and he does as much as he can to show little emotion...it's the worst combo!

He says he loves me and I want to believe him, but a lot of what he says/does makes me doubt him.

What's interesting is that I majored in psychology and sociology and find myself able to analyze a lot of stuff and give other people great advice, but when it comes to following my own advice I suck HORRIBLY.

Any advice people could give me on my posts would be appreciated and I will try my best to help others...
