Will that ever be possible ?
Just because you have stopped relating to your partner in a romantic manner does not necessarily mean you have to discard him or her from your life completely. This could be difficult because you have been intimate in the past. But hopefully you are both adults and will be able to look past the issues. If not immediately, then maybe eventually you could form a beautiful friendship.
