Totally fell in love with a girl from an internet forum.Am I acting correctly so far?

Well about 2 months ago I met a wonderful girl online on one internet forum. She registered there, and I am a long-term member and a moderator there. Even though I still don't know how she looks like, the emotions that I feel for her are something that I never experienced before. I totally fell in love with her and I am thinking about her the whole day. Since this is the very beginning, I also don't know how old she is, but she is definetly older than me. I guess about 6 years.
We are exchanging private messages for some time (2 weeks), and even though I still can't admit her that I am in love with her, I told her that I will not let anything bad happen to her, that I always reply on her messages first and then on all the others, and that I divide PM messages on the ones she sent me and on the ones that the others are sending me (and she was surprised to hear that and thanked me for it), and I actually did say that I really care about her opinion and that it means a lot to me and that I love her (although I was stressing it in a "friend-friend" relation not the actual one). I was often putting those emoticons that express love in one way or another in my messages.
She told me that I am her best online friend on that forum and that she appreciates me a lot and also that she likes to communicate with me. And also she added that thanks to me she feels like that is the place where she belongs and that it seems there are really people who are quite nice on the board. She likes my jokes, etc, and likes to exchange messages with me, I see that ......but, I feel like she is still reserved, as she is not replying in such manner with those "love-sharing" emoticons. Only on one occasion so far. When I told her all those things she liked it but also said that it looks strange when she heard it. As if she didn't expect that somebody would like her that much after only 2 months of her presence on the board and as if she got used to people treating her badly. And then she asked me "Are you sure that I am not some kind of a witch? Things often aren't what they look like " and then she put the laughing emoticon at the end.
Before we began to exchange PMs each day, one forum member noticed that I love her, and after her public reply that "this is not the first time that my post left her speechless" he said "these two will end up in a marriage", I didn't reply on that and she said "Wow, somebody is full of humor here" and then she put up the smiley with sun glasses.
On one occasion I told her that one male member likes me as a brother and she said: "If you behave towards him in the way you do in my case.....you deserve it and I am glad somebody recognized that".
Two days ago, one thing pissed me off a bit, but I didn't show it to her. While we were talking about soccer she told me that she likes Ronaldinho and that he was the reason she liked Barcelona, and was never hiding it. Then, she said that she likes one basketball player but she won't talk much about him. Then, I replied that I got over those phantasies of having a crush on a public celebrity and that I don't feel any emotions of that nature towards any of them, and I told her one thing from a private life of this basketball player which is indeed true and where he treated his girls like material objects.
She then replied that she doesn't like Ronaldinho in the way I meant and that she will not comment on that fact about the basketball player in case that is true. I felt a bit jealous, because as I said I love her with my full body and soul. Do you think she tested me in some way with this, and do you think this reply was honest?
Also, am I acting correctly so far and do I have a chance to be with her based on all this that I wrote? I want to, first, form a strong friendship and then tell her that I love her more than just that. Is that OK? Do you think she loves me? So far I managed to be the person that she likes to exchange PMs the most and her best forum friend, which is good for a start. Do you think I should do something else?
