Then you change ‘em or forget ‘em, I guess.
You made up some lame excuse,
Boy you refused.
I asked you to let me know
But instead you left me waiting up all night.
You must get some sick pleasure out of confusing me, no?
Or is it just that you can’t see the light?
You tell me you love me
But obviously not enough.
You tell me you miss me
But I know you don’t give a f***.
You tell me you think about me constantly
But that’s just another lie.
You tell me you want me there honestly
But if I was there you’d have no excuse to fly.
I make jokes ‘cos I wanna be funny.
You take me seriously and get angry.
I wanted to say sorry honey
But you don’t realise you blocked the light out of your life.
You always told me you’d be honest,
Yet you lied to me like a cheating wife.
You know I’m never dishonest,
Not in this life.
