Right now, I'm reading The Omen by David Seltzer. After this, though, I'm going to probably delve into a Stephen King or a John Grisham...maybe even finish Anne Rice's Mayfair Witches Trilogy.
Martina cole is my fave author. I love all her books. I also like some of ken brunes books aswel as mandesue hellar. I love depressing books-i dont know why
Not currently but my last read book was -- The Power of Habit: Why We Do What We Do in Life and Business by Charles Duhigg
I am reading a few books concurrently, some for school, profession and pure interest. One is an art textbook, 2 are on prison and being a correctional officer, one is one of the seminal 60s sci-fi classics and another is on Mesopotamia, possibly the most fascinating ancient culture.
I have "Under the Dome" by Stephen King on the go right now, not sure what is next.
The Enchantress of Florence - Salman Rushdie
I tried to read Midnight's Children. Hey Millie, did you ever read The Satanic Verses?
Midnight's Children is my all time favourite book EVER lol what do you mean tried, I totally would have you down as someone who would appreciate it. I haven't read The Satanic Verses no, the story never grabbed me, but I love him sooooo much as an author that I'm sure I will one day. If Midnight's Children didn't draw you in try The Ground Beneath Her Feet!
I got this book off a friend because I was always curious about it and now LMAO I don't know if I'll ever get through it.
Anyone read this?

^ i never read it, don't think i would enjoy that type of book, tbh. i am reading a book on hockey my dad got me.
I just started reading Taltos by Anne Rice. Although it follows the traditional style of her writing that I've grown to love, I think it's not as good as the first two in the trilogy of the Mayfair Witches.
