Can you choose love?
Do you think you choose who you love?
I think people do choose who they fall in love with. There are many people that we can meet that we feel can be the right one. But it really depends on the stage of one's life and their decisions. Some people might have met someone who is right for them in many ways, but because they are not ready to settle down(maybe because they have not yet worked on their career, etc.), things may not go as they hope. In my opinion, a person can choose whether she wants to love a person, or whether she chooses if she wants to work things out with him or not. At the end, it's all about making choices when it comes to falling in love, and make sure it's a right choice.
What do you guys think? Do you choose who you fall in love with or it just happens?

I don't believe in fate and destiny.

That depends. Are you defining love as the hugely acute brain chemical process that is involved with forming mental emotional attachments to new people, or are you talking about the long term respect, honor, and nurturing of real love?
They're two completely different things.

I read somewhere that men learn to love the women they're attracted to and women learn to be attracted to the men they love, so yeah, I guess so.

I believe you choose who you allow yourself to fall in love with

You may be attracted to a certain person, but YOU choose what it becomes.
So in essence, yes, you can choose who you fall in love with.
When people say they don't choose, its a poor excuse to be a cheater or a low life IMO.

I believe people who say 'love, it just happens', they are choosing, they just don't know it yet.
