I suck at story telling
One thing I have become aware of since my plummet into college. Sometime I want to get better at. I completely suck at telling stories. Every now and then I will say one good, but I don't realize what makes it good. Is it one of those "practice makes perfect" things? I can write a really good story, but I can't tell a good one spontaneously.
I'll post more as I analyze myself.

You think you can write a really goood one eh? Why not become a writer then?
I am not a good story teller either. I guess its more about the person type, which is unchangeable. Peoples nerves act differently according to gene, it influences the way how we process information. If we process things visually, it is often hard to put into words, another thing is with kinestetic proccessing though, then you are acting kinetical also as you are telling the story... You should think about wheter it is the process of telling the story or the ending result of story itself that you are thinking of. Also, some people like to think through more or just need to be certain. Some people are the same, but they actually want to tell something so bad that they end up in a word mess. Personality change can lead to neurotic syndrome which messes things up even more - the common problem among teenagers.

Yeah, my friend Steve sucks at telling stories, much less jokes.
Some people just don't "get it".

with this, i think that it takes practice. some people are natural born story tellers, however, like speech class, you'll have to earn your reputation on this one.
