on your profile where it says who's visited your page, after some people's names it has a '+' which isn't a link to anything. does it mean they've visited it more than once or something?

I think the + after a certain person's name would mean that person that looked at your profile is on your friends/contacts list.
It means that they have special powers and can bend the laws of internet to their will
