Miss Me Baby - Chris Cagle

I had to make a little trip out of town this morning, and was flipping through the radio stations on the way back. Oldies, country, 80's rock, hip hop - just hearing a bit of everything.

I stumbled upon a station playing "Miss Me Baby" by Chris Cagle - hadnt heard that one before, and it got my attention so I listened to it all the way through.

I know it's just a song, but man it really annoyed me. If he loves her so damn much, why cant he stop talking about himself long enough to say something nice to or about her?! All I hear is me and I through the whole song.

I think you're reading way too much into the song or trying to make it more than what it is. It's a heartache song not a love song. Anyway, I saw Chris in concert last week and he rocked the house.

So did Andy Griggs last night for any country fans out there.

I am just getting the "heartache song" from my fellow, after HE broke MY heart. So yes, it pushed buttons is all ;)
