Am i doing something wrong?

Me and my boyfriend have a rather unusual relationship. We live rather close to eachother so its easy to communicate and he comes over to my house often. Instead of having all these intimate moments and telling each other how much we love eachother, we just take showers together and such. Sometimes lay together in bed but nothing seems to happen. Well, the problem is, when we take showers we never do anything big like penetration but i give him head and he eats me occasionly. We mostly just feel on eachother and again, nothing happens. We never really go anywhere, its like theirs this barrier around us stopping us from going any farther, we've never actually had real romantic sex before and i'm longing so much for that but i dont want to tell him what to do. I mean you cant really ask your partner "make passionate love to me" I just fear i'm driving him away or doing something wrong. Can anybody give me some advice on how we can step our relationship up a bit. I want to be closer together and hold eachother but all he seems to want to do is the sex part. Plz help!

thnx for the advice.... I guess i'll jsut try to make a move and see what happens. If he rejects it and dumps me then i wont be losing much, he isnt much a bf, i feel terrible saying that but its true.

umm maybe he enjoys taking showers and what not with you (?) and prolly thinks you enjoy them too (?) cause you dont tell him you dont? maybe hes asked you if you liked it and you said yes?? well it surrrrrre soundslike you havent talked to buddy here about it and just expect him to be your sex robot and read your mind.

oh by the way..i think taking showers with a person is pretty intimate..even a shower all by yourself can be intimate! so is all that other stuff like eating out and junk.

i really think you are just with him for sex because you wouldnt be complaining about how 'johnny wont **** you in the hole' and if you really loved him and cared about him it wouldnt matter to you if you had sex or not. (btw i am SOOOOOOO surprised shh and all these ppl say your old enough to have sex when i am just a few short months to being 17 and they tell me im too young)
