anyway
Only in response to serious questions. Yours is so general as to not have an answer. Only someone's opinion. Mine is that love is what happens when two people realize that neither is afraid of getting either lost in or found out by the other, and their inner motivations become totally visible to one another.
Think of the Master teaching the Student to play sitar classics. There will be the scoresheet telling what notes to play. But there will also be several pictures of dieties showing the spirit in which the notes are to be played. You and your lover are the scoresheet. The pictures are each of you, individually. The lesson is to learn how to keep on playing the music even though a different spirit may move you from time to time.

Welcome to LF.
Love is what is left over after infatuation wears off -
If you are lucky.
Welcome.
Yep. That's quote-worthy, too. Mind if I use it, Shh!?
Welcome to Lf!
love is basically a 4 letter word that was created to bring false hope and a lot of pain and misery to your life.

i think "Love is the condition in which the happiness of another person is essential to your own"
Well, hell. If you knew the answer all along, why'd you bother us to ask?! And no, what you said is NOT love. It's co-dependency.
That's what I was thinking, Hayward! :D

i m not sayin i m sure
i just said " i think"
is it rite ? wht i m thinking ??
It's all perspective.
As far as I'm concerned, "love" doesn't exist.
