feelings for someone from the past ...

has anyone here known someone for a long time, and then realised that they had feelings for that person when it was too late, when youd lost contact with that person? if someone has had that happen could you please let me know what you did about it?

So you say that 'too late' is losing contact with this person? There are many times when people I had 'lost contact with' had somehow come back into my life.

If you feel for someone you 'lost contact with', you look for them or search them out. Or if that isn't possible... just keep your eyes open. I've seen many people that I haven't seen in so long just by chance.

However, when you see her, I would not suggest telling her your feelings straight up. Just get to know her a little again. Hopefully things will pick up right from where they left off.

Search for your girl... believe me, it will be the most beautiful thing that you ever did in your life.

i dont know if its just me but when im single and searching , everything in my life at that point doesnt seem to bother me and the only thing that matters is finding a girl , i improve myself like crazy , i workout , i gain more knowledge in other cultures so i can know some background on the girls . im also hornier than a dog in heat that just ate 3 viagra pills . thats the only down side , also the lonelyness and some boring moments .

but when im single , at almost every moment my mind is crystal clear , no mixed up moments where im unsure of what to do next with my life , everything seems to go well

then once i have the girl , i get rather lazy , i stop working out because i want to spend time with her .
i get lost in work and school and the only thing that is left is me and the girl ... sometimes i would like to go back to being single for a month or so and then go back to the relationship to the way it was . i want that now , im beginnig to consider dropping the GF for a good job/school and personal improvement .

thing is , when im in school and work and single , i get distracted by the girls like crazy .

the thing is the situation im in is kinda complicated, so here goes:

the girl im talking about is someone i knew for most of my life, i went through the whole of school with her and for most of it we were kinda good friends. a couple of years before we finished school though something happened, i have no idea what it was but we started rarely talking to each other, until we finally left school and that was pretty much the end of it. i saw her a few times in the couple of years when i was at college (she went to the same college) but i never actually got a chance to talk to her or anythin. in that couple of years before the end of school where we very rarely talked to each other i started missing her a bit, which gradually became me missing her quite a bit. then when i left school and i wasnt seeing her around much i started REALLY missing her, and i began to realise that the reason was because i had feelings for her.

now, about a year and a half ago, not long before i finished college, i started seeing her around more because i found out she started workin at the local cinema, and i used to go quite regularly even before she started workin there. i found myself going into the cinema at any opportunity to just see her (i sound like a stalker) and i always tried to cover it up by picking up a leaflet with the movies showtimes on. but i did that after college, when i just went out, whenever, because i just wanted to get a glance at her. she wasnt working everytime i went in though and i was dissapointed when she wasnt. at that time though i was a big wuss, a coward and i never had the guts to talk to her again, i said hi a few times but that was it. i was also a bit apprehensive of talking to her again because at that time i knew i was just a few months away from moving out of the area (about 150 miles away). i didnt know what would happen if i made an attempt to get back into her life and then move away. i was never sure if i wanted to move away, the place had been my home for my whole life, and there was also the hidden thought in the back of my mind that i didnt want to leave her behind. anyway, a few months later i did actually move away, and its now been a year and 3 months since i did but i cant stop thinking about her. shes been in my head from the very moment i moved and i dont think ive once been able to get her out. gradually my feelings have been getting stronger, and although i dont know what it is exactly that i feel i know that its driving me mad. i mean, shes usually in pretty much every dream i have aswell.

a few months ago i decided that i had to try and get back in contact with her, but i dont know where she lives (i did know once but i cant for the life of me remember what the address is, that is of course if she still lives there herself) and i have no phone number for her or anything like that. anyway, i did a bit of searching on the net (you can find anyone on the net) and finally, after a few hours, i came up with an email address. i got it from a few different websites and i know its her (take my word for it cos itd take a bit of explaining for me to say how i know its her). i drafted up an email though and after a few days of wondering if i should or shouldnt send it i finally did. now that was almost 3 months ago and i havent got a reply. maybe she doesnt use the account anymore, i dunno, but im now left with nothing. what i thought was a real opportunity to get back in touch with her has probably ended up being a dead end, and now i dunno what the hell to do. any ideas? its driving me insane.

Ideas? Well your best bet would be to look up your old school mates/college mates to see if anyone knows of her. I think you're getting sentimental over someone who may have received your e-mail and chosen not to reply. If the e-mail is a dead account, well best leave it to chance than. Fate willing, you'll bump into her at Sainsburys :-D

maybe she has chosen not to reply but that doesnt help me, unless i know that for sure i cant leave it alone. i cant choose to just drop it over the chance that she doesnt want to get back in touch with me, i keep thinking about her and until i know for sure that she doesnt wanna know me i cant choose to stop thinking about her. you understand what im tryin to say?

and good idea about gettin in touch with some of me old school mates but thats where a problem lies. its weird but she was never really friends with any of my mates and the same goes for me and her mates. that is unless you count the ones i havent seen since before high school, which is going back almost 10 years ago. theres a couple i might be able to look up but im not sure, i guess ill have a go. thanks for the idea.

i kinda believe in fate but i dont believe that itll come to me if i just sit around and dont try.
