Plz rate my valentines poem

Hi,

I was terrible at english and have never written a poem out of my own interest but I wrote this poem for my new gf. Still deciding whether to write it on the card with the rose etc. I am hoping you guys can tell me if it is any good or if it can be improved.

The theme is pretty obvious

As we depart
i will steal your heart

though do not fear
i will keep it near

you can't get lost, on this trail
nothing can fail,
in this tale

I like it, its simple, to the point and sincere.
