Found somewhere I might like

Hi,

I've been pondering whether to join this forum for a while now, but I've decided to bite the bullet and just do it. I imagine there will be a real mix of people, all burning their fingers on the candle of life and love.

Ok, I'm male, 29 y.o, from Scotland. I have many interests but music is my world for the most part. The reason I'm here is that love and I don't mix well and I really want to have a few answers from those who have been there, seen it and done it all.

I've recently been seperated and hope to put it all behind me and move on although it's hard.

anyway, nice to have a fellow european around.

We seperated about this time last year. We had only been married for two years but had been together for about 6 years in total at that time.

I know now it's over for good. I'm just waiting to muster the energy for divorce. It's a long story. What about you? Where in Europe are you if you don't mind me asking?

no, i don't mind you asking (hehe, british politeness, nice) – i'm austrian. tell us your long story, whenever you feel like it, we're a very nosy bunch. (i haven't posted "my story" so far, and i've been here for two months now, but one day i might)

You say you've been lurking for a while. So what (or who) finally motivated you to join? Do you "know" any of us??

I found out about the site just from a google search. I just felt that there must be other people out there like me to talk to. I don't know anyone here on the forum, I wasn't really studying profiles before, just glancing at the odd message every other week or so. Just wanted to see what kind of community was here, and people seem to genuinly want to help as far as I can see, so that's why I joined.

I'm generally shy so that's another reason I dilly-dallied I suppose.

Anyway, I'm here now so I'm ready to suss out some stuff. I will contribute as much as I can.

this is definitly not the norm for me, but all the real life drama got to much and if you can blow it off, talk to some others and possibly have a joke or two all at once without any stress, it sounded good.
