the rebound

This girl I was seeing broke things off last week, I brought it up cause she's been acting like she didn't want to see me or talk to me so finally she said that she's confused and doesn't want to see anyone right now. The thing is, she was definitely really interested in me for like the month that we were seeing eachother, and one small argument between us made things die down it seems, and I guess she can't put that past her even though its really water under the bridge at this point.

The thing is, this girl was definitely on the rebound..she broke up with an ex-boyfriend like a month before we met, and it was pretty bad apparently. She would talk about him while we were together, tell me how much it hurt her and she couldn't get over it. Well, obviously she was on the rebound and I just wanna iknow if her feelings for me were genuine, or if it was just cause she was on the rebound. Seems to me like the latter would be the right assumption, considering how fast we broke things off together. Man, this is the last time I get involved with a girl on the rebound, it was my fault in the first place, shoulda seen this shit coming.

from what you tell here, it seems that it was a rebound thing. Especially if she's telling her current bf that she can't get over her ex, that seems like a sign to bail. Sorry man, hope things pick up for you.

Learn from this... if a girl just got out a relationship and still talks about him WITH YOU - it's usually a sign she's not ready to jump back into the whole committment scene yet.

You got played the fool this time, but hopefully you can take it as a lesson and not let it happen again.

She didn't play him intentionally, I'm sure. She was probably lonely and needed a shoulder. She probably should've gone to a girlfirend and unfortunately didn't.

Be glad it only lasted a short time.

well i would have to say yes its a rebound due to the info you have given, she probably didnt mean it though, most people dont even realize that they are on a rebound which she probably didnt, she had an empty place where her ex boyfriend used to be and she met you and probably just need to fill it, now she is realizing that...
