Long time crush

So there is this guy that I have liked for a really long time but he went home for summer. Before he left we talked about it and he said he would want to try something when he got back from summer. Well he is back now and we have hooked up once and it was great. But I haven't heard from him in a while and I'm scared that I was just a one night stand. What should I do.....do I call him or just pretend like nothing happened or just wait for him to call me? I really like him but I don't want to just be a booty call either. Please help
