Asking a girl out...

Hi all, I'm a Sophmore in High School and just a few days ago, I met probably the girl of my dreams. We talked alot and from what I see, and I asked some of my friends, all signs point to that she likes me too. Anyways, of course I don't want to pass up on this opportunity and I want to ask her out on a date this week. So what would be the best way to approach this? I think it would be better if I asked her alone but she's ALWAYS around her best friends at school. Honestly, I'm not really that good or experienced at asking girls out. And we both talk on AIM ALOT ... and was thinking of asking her out over chat but I heard thats a very, very bad idea. Also, right now she doesn't have a cell phone so I can't ask her over the phone.

Um. I would just walk up to her and her friends, say hello to her friends - make an impression and then ask if you can speak to her for a moment. Tell her you enjoy her company and would like to hang out with her out of school some time if she is interested.
