She's Got It, I Want It...and I'm Confused

Hey guys,

After getting a little bit of feedback on my thread on pacing, I thought I'd spill my guts. I met this woman about a year ago and we've had some chemestry, I just need to know if she wants me, etc...I'm just too stupid to see the forrest through the trees on this one. Emotions can be blinding. Here are the facts:

• She enjoys making fun of me infront of people and enjoys getting made fun of herself
• She always stands up for me, even if someone insults me jokingly
• She always says "hi" or asks others how I am when she hasn't seen me in a while
• She smiles and starts laughing from quite a distance away when we're walking towards each other
• She ignores most people when she sees me
• My friends say she gets "stupid" when she talks to me
• She often forgets what she's saying when she talks to me...almost like she's lost in the moment
• When she hugs me, her hugs are SUPER TIGHT and linger for a bit
• She usually makes some physical contact
• She's always helpful and genuinely a sweetheart when we're alone
• She likes to argue with me and it usually ends up in laughter

Your friends are seeing it?

That's the telltale sign for me. I know I'll see things that aren't there, but if my friends see it, then it's game over.

But yeah man, from what you're tellin' us she's giving you every possible sign that she's interested, step up and ask her out on a date or somethin'.

yeah, but how confident should i be in getting a yes? now, i'm not stupid...i'm a guy...being confident is my job...but she makes me a mess. maybe she is just being friendly...who knows? i hate second guessing myself. actually, i hate being in love...
