Why isn't he interested anymore?

My boyfriend used to be a horndog, I'm talking 2-4 times a day. Then all of a sudden *BAM* we are down to 2 times a week and mostly I have to start it. What is really sad is that we have only been sexually active since October. He was my first so I am still ready and willing but even when we do it I can tell his heart is not in it.

I have talked to him about it and he swears nothing is wrong, he just doesn't feel like doing it. Work and the holidays and blah blah blah. I thought it was me, was I not attractive to him anymore, was I doing something wrong, should I make him chase me more or what?!?!?! It is driving me crazy, I am very attractive but has he just gotten bored with me or something.

I worried that when I met him I was a virgin and very inexperienced and he loved that but now I have lost that pureness and he isn't turned on any more? He denies that completely. I can't figure it out. He used to have this hungry look in his eyes and now he just doesn't evn really think about it. He doesn't even bug me for blowjobs anymore!!!!!!

Is this a normal relationship thing? Does the sex drive go up and down? Will I ever get my porn star back? :sad2:

We are still very affectionate and loving and cuddly and I know he is crazy about me it is just someone stole his libido. It has been going on for about 1-2 months now. Oh, he is also only 23 (I am 21). I don't think he should be having these problems at his age, but I know that is probably not true.

Well I don't know if this is it, but I know a man when stressed or exhausted from work and or activites that feed into his day, to to be overdriven to where hes not in the mood nearly as much.

You've talked with him about it, thats very good..the communications skills are working. If he denys it, then its very possible thats the reason...and if so, just work with him for a while and see what goes on from there.

he could be like my ex, Jay, we were getting to "involved" so he dumped me b/c suposedly what we were doing was "morally wrong". He got with me to let out all of his sexual fustration (he's 17 and I was his first girlfriend-lol) and then he dumped me when he realized that he was "a nice, good Christian boy" and dumped me b/c I was a "temptation" to him.

That doesn't mean that's what is happening with you two, that's just me ranting. Anyways, monitor how much "spiritual knowlege" he is taking in nowadays--you never know until it's too late. haha.

Seeing this is all new yet, do the things you were thinking yourself, it's a good start. Open lines of communication is the key to keep going. I'm not suggesting being a "nag" or even having to "beg" for it, but give little clues now and then.

Thanks everyone. I was prancing around the house in little outfits and everything was looking good, then... we both catch a nasty virus :upset: , lol. What are you going to do. So we managed to get some loving in today but it just ain't the same when your throat hurts and you tummy is sick , but I was happy nonetheless.
