I don't know what her mother was asking, if that is what you want to know, however, you need to get over yourself and meet her mother or she won't want her daughter to date you.
Its not necessarily a good OR a bad thing. It's a motherly thing and its expected. At least her mom is taking an interest in who her daughter is dating. If I had a daughter, I would want to know who she was dating.
