Have you resigned love for anything perceived as more important?

I ended my relationship because I thought it would get in the way of school work. Kierkegaard ended his engagement with the love of his life because he thought it would interfere with his philosophy.

Have you done something similar?

Angel left Buffy because if he stayed, he knew he wouldn't be able to resist and he might end up getting the world sucking into a hell portal (again). that sounds like a good reason.

I don't understand... Plenty of people date at college. It's perfect because the people are all around the same age, at a similar stage in life, and have similar schedules.. similar exam times when they're all busy, etc. or wasn't she in college also?

I find having a woman helps me with work and school. Women have a way of making a guy feel confident in himself. Plus chasing skirts gives me a reason to drag my lazy ass out of bed. So no, can't say as I've had that problem.
