From what I've tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice,
I think I know enough of hate
To say that for destruction ice
Is also great
And would suffice

I agree. The unusual nature of the rhyme scheme is what made it good. I generally don't care for rhyming poems.Quote:

Huh, that is pretty good. Never realized how well the words desire and fire rhyme and go together.
