As a fellow nursing student with children, I don't know HOW you have time to be concerned about such trivial things as girlfriends. You should be focused on school and your kid, period. Besides, that girl is too young for you, and if she were REALLY interested in you, she'd have dumped her boyfriend by now.

I believe that she's just concerned about my feelings. At this point, I am simply trying to stay at a certain distance from her that she always manages to destroy; she always finds a reason to break that gap and be right beside me.

My options are simple but not simple to do: just let go and see where it goes OR actively stay away from her.

by the way, it's not about the "sex"... I am not after her body... in fact, I don't know what I am after.

Yes, I am female, and yes - I understand why she is behaving this way. It is because you do not have firm boundaries. Your lack of firm boundaries is being interpreted as encouragement. I am sure there are plenty of other students than can help her with her questions. In fact, I believe that is what the instructor is for.
