I am in love with an heathen (Lust is the opposite of Love)
Would you change for her? I thought not. Now that you know what she's really about, the only choice you have is to keep following your own path, even if it leads out of her life. Don't be hateful or angry about it- submit to your destiny.
Maybe you should stone her.

i'm am Catholic, but i've been taking a "break" from church for a good while. i will always be a Christian, but the problem with religion a lot of times is that it makes you almost...i dont know....nuts.
first and foremost as a Christian, remember that what's most important, at least, is a relationship between you and God. the middlemen like whatever church it is, is run by men. simple as that. they say God is forgiving, so don't forget that. sometimes the people who run a church are not exactly saints themselves, so even though you may be religious, don't forget that the people who run your church **** up too.
so i'm not sure what you can do, but i think what would be best for you is to take a break from the church. sometimes you need time to yourself and if a God does exists, he is forgiving. therefore, whatever guilt trip your church likes to put on ppl....ignore that. you need time to find yourself.
still, be a Christian, but dont let religion control your life so much. you don't have to be an atheist at all, but taking anything to an extreme is bad and this includes Christianity.
abcdefghijkl
you probably "don't" now, but the very essence of how lust is a very wrong thing in your opinion lies right into christianity and probably how you were raised.Quote:

with women, sex is a much more emotional and loving thing than how us guys see it for the most part. for us, sex is sex. i think she'd feel more than welcome to be intimate with you and wouldnt mind having sex with you. she respects you though and wont change you, yet she feels turned on for some reason and since she respects you, she wont be like that to you. to expect her to NOT show any sexual signs at ALL is impossible. being "horny" is a scientific thing also.
but don't kid yourself, maybe this has "NOTHING" to do with religion, but your post based on lust vs love and how evil lust is is based in christianity itself. you even show it, otherwise you wouldnt have talked about it in the first place about how you are a Calvinist.
Err, I believe this was your actual question, yes?Quote:

To me, faithfulness means knowing what ideas, values, etc have meaning to you & then acting in a way that is congruent with them. Even when, especially when it may be hard to do so. Its closely related to commitment, which is the conscious decision to uphold these values.
"Faith is believing what you know ain't so."
Mark Twain
He meant religion, specifically. And his opinion, I suspect, is that its stupid to do so.Quote:

People rarely change. To go into a relationship thinking you can change someone is to doom yourself to a bad end for it, because you won't ever have what you wanted--and expected, even.
That's a load of crock - your post oozed of religion, the reason you're thinking like this is because of religion. Religion is dictating your whole post.Quote:

And what is faithfulness to a non-believer?
FAITHFULNESS.
you know what...i feel like being an asshole.
what makes you so much ****ing better than us and calling her a heathen, you disrespectful prick. ppl have flaws and if you cant see that, then you are no ****in christian.
"My only sin is that I love an heathen more than I love God."
my ass. i'm no hardline christian i have distanced myself from religion for a little bit, but you have pride in you thinking you're so much better than your girl and become jealous because of her being horny and probably liking some other guy.
im generally a cool guy, but your arrogance is ridiculous. i hope she dumps your ass for someone more down-to-earth. people are people and you aren't more heavenly than anyone else. even God would see that you have pride and envy in you.
i don't give a **** about your "mental breakdown". you think you're a "nice guy" but you're the same type of guy that wants to control his girl.
dont even try preaching to me either. that shit doesn't work on me, so dont waste your time.
the reason why you feel bad is because of your own doing. you said that you believe that lust is the opposite of love and she knows how you stand, so she is going to go some place else for that. lust is no opposite and if you mean lust=sex, then you have no idea. you need sex in some way, or at least she does, in order to love and she is attracted to you and likes you. since she cant have sex from you and she'd want to, then she's gonna go some place else. and you call her being "unfaithful?" go **** yourself.
Haha ! This post cannot be for realQuote:
