do you expect a kiss on the first date?

I want to know how many people would like to have a kiss on the first date or if they would prefer it be some other time.

As a rule I don't kiss on the first date unless it goes over exceptionally well. And if I don't feel particularly inclined to kiss by the second it's time to find someone else.

for the most part I say no first date kiss. Unless you have known the person for a long time and its just the first official date at the most a sweet peck is all. A hug is fine.
But I do agree with Gribble that if you don't find yourself attracted enough to someone by date 2 or 3 its verry possibly not a love match

If I'm not attracted enough to kiss him by the end of the first date, there won't be another date.

I hug and kiss on the cheek on every first date (unless I particularly dislike the person) in the beginning and in the end. If I liked the girl on the first date, but didn't get a kiss on the lips in, the hug in the end will be extra sensual.

I agree with giga - if I don't like you enough to want to kiss you by the end of date 1, forget about date 2.

BTW - I don't believe I ever have gone on a date in which the guy didn't try to kiss me the first night.

It really depends...Generally if I want a second date with the person, I want to kiss them by the end of the first date...If I don't feel inclined to kiss them then I probably don't want to date them again :P But...There have been occasions where this wasn't true XD
