Do new years kisses mean anything?

Does a new years kiss actually mean anything or do people just do it for fun

i think that most people do it with someone that they are attracted to because they are drunk. as for me, i'm not into this shit.

For some people, this is major. They think it indicates what the rest of their year will be like, romantically speaking.

I knew a guy once who drove all the way downtown to the restaurant I worked in to run in the door at 11:58 and kiss his girlfriend, then run back out again. She had to work until 2:00, but he didn't want to miss that crucial midnight kiss.

I've never noticed it made a bit of difference.

yup, see i don't believe in all that luck and superstitious types of nonsense. your actions are only what you make of it, it's not something that another person can predict.
