so when are you turning 18...wait what?

So i decided to go karaoke with some friends the other night. i arrived late so when i went in i just sat where ever with my buddies. Then there's this 1 girl. she was pretty cute.

so i started talking to her as people were singing some cheesy songs that i'd like to forget..back on point. It was fun talking to her..then one of my friends asked the girl, so when are you turning 18?

my jaw dropped. literally. as soon as i heard that, the only thought that came to my mind was Chris Hanson showing up and telling me im on MSNBC's to catch a predator.

i'm 20 years old. This girl i've been talking to the whole time isnt even old enough to buy ciggarettes?? i tried to shrug it off. but it was just awkward for me the whole night after that question uttered out.

She said she turns 18 soon, but yeah...is it normal for me to feel extremely awkward about this? :surprised
