Anyways, hey, I'm torgo. From Maryland and going to the University of Maryland. 18 year old guy, 19 in a few months.
I've had one girlfriend my senior year of highschool. Currently slightly infatuated with a girl a floor above me in my dorm but who I have zero chance with. But thats enough angst for this thread.

The thing is I've been crushing on her since October and I was trying to show it and getting zero reaction from her. In December I came right out and just told her I was becoming very attracted to her (before anyone says thats a bad idea... I have little experience with the ladies). Her response was... surprising. She basically told me she's never been attracted to anyone ever, and that while she's flattered theres just nothing like that at all on her end. From that and some other things shes said and the way she acts I've gathered that she really just doesn't seem to be capable of thinking in THAT way about people. My telling her didn't change the way she acts around me or her attitude towards me at all, not even for the worse.
In all other ways she's pretty awesome and she likes doing stuff with me, and even without my infatuation she's cool to be around and do things with. We actually hang out a lot. I just wish things were different.
I just graduated UMD. Also, Torgo is ****ing hilarious. Did you see the MST3k riff?

Yeah I actually own the MST3K version of Manos on DVD! Its soooooo bad... and poor Torgo. Getting massaged to death, resurrected, and your hand turned to wood and set on fire will ruin anyone's day... so will walking around with watermelons in your pants.
i'm actually glad that you cleared that up for me. now i can regard you as a normal member as opposed to an outcast who resembles a bum.

Creepy fact: the actor who played Torgo killed himself right after the movie was finished.
Hah I've heard a rumor that he overdosed on pain medication he was first prescribed for the problems that wearing his jumbo-leg-prosthetics backwards gave him... not sure if I should believe that though...
And HAH no, I don't particularly resemble Torgo although I did dress up as him for a few minutes and take some pictures for Halloween last year...
