This one's for Gigabitch, Vashti, and/or Indie.
r they all having me conditions? poor them...
wd it be proper to advertise for marriage online and put a condition for the man to be that he should accept relocating since i am moving with my kid to another couintry shortly? i hope i havent gone too far. Just trying to break the single mum divorced story which might not seem OK in the new country and seeking a good dad for my kid and surely a lovely hubby since i am still in my mid thirties.
You mean are they all under similar conditions as you?Quote:

No.
Well, Giga was a single parent, but is soon to be married, Vashti is married happily with several kids, and Indie...she's married, but I don't know about kids.
Either way, they're the people you wanna look for answers from, they have a better understanding of the whole kid thing.
I'm pretty much of the opinion that if I were in your shoes, I wouldn't bother with men at all until my kids were grown. I've been through the whole step-parent situation, having been both a step-parent and step-child, and honestly I think that for the majority of kids, it sucks. I wouldn't do it to mine.
For the record, I have two kids, Giga and Indi each have one.
excuse me , what do u mean by step parent or step child?
I mean I have been both: I married a man who had children from a prior marriage, and so I helped to raise those kids, and also my mother was divorced and remarried when I was a child, so I had a step-parent.
i dont feel right about having a step parent, is that what u felt as well?
I don't think most people make good step parents.
u r right, may b a good look is needed
we r away from the main posting title name, what cd i do as a single mum? any suggestions. for exmaple am off today with a 6 years old kid, what can we do? dnt feel good when we go to play area since dads are all around playing with their kids.. and i feel so lonely

Well, you sort of steered the discussion towards remarriage, which is why I went that direction. As for men being everywhere, you are just going to have to get used to that. They make up approximately half the population, and there is no avoiding them.Quote:

Take your kid to do what kids enjoy - the park is usually pretty good. Hikes, rock throwing in a lake, finger painting, swimming... you know: normal kid stuff...
Have and do not have... only mum if she has time and she doesnt talk at all.. not a deficiency but she is like that!
