I traded in 51 pounds of stripped copper, and got 130 bucks for it all.
I still have another 50+ unstripped in my room right now.
I'm just rooooooollin' in the dough.

Where the hell do you get copper?
I do electric work.
Wires are usually made of copper, sometimes aluminum.
The fact that you have 50 pounds of copper just sitting around in your room tells me that Ames is one very patient girl.
Not exactly a hospitable environment, you know?
Frasbee is a copper thief
A lot of people do that. Go steal copper from electrical areas... then get electrocuted to death.Quote:

Contractors collect it, like Fras said. We just had a whole bunch of plumbing replaced & there was a lot of copper pipe removed for the job. Its just not worth it for an individual to take it to the depot so I just let them have it. I imagine if you work on a lot of different jobs, that's a lot of copper one collects over time.Quote:
