Depends on what you define as passion. Do you mean passion in the literal sense or the same belief system?
Or do you mean they share similar interests as you?
For instance, if your passion in life is to help underpriviledged children, how important would it be to you that your partner shared that passion?
Or how much of a bonus is it that they share that?
i think you two would definitely have a better connection with a shared passion such as that.
buts its not like u wont have a good connection if you dont.
my ex and i had completely different passions in life. hers the arts (theater, choir, that crap <--sorry if i offend anyone with that, still a little bitter towards her)
mine, cars.
but we still had an amazing bond/connection
It blows my mind because he would be unique.
It doesn't have to be a shared passion but if he believes in doing things that the average man doesn't do (even something I did not think to do for a lifetime) then I would admire him greatly. I have found this type.

I once was interested in a girl who was also interested in me, but her passion in life was the arts - theatre, plays, musicals, performing, etc.. and it just bored me and really turned me off to her. I think there was obviously more to my gradual unattraction to her than just the fact that her passion bored me, but I think it was a major player.
