Friends say forget it what do you say?

My ex's birthday is on Saturday.
She called me on my birthday to wish me a happy one...promised dinner and then reasoned it was not smart of her...blah blah blah and it never came to it.
Now, I deffinetly would not offer dinner, but given the drama that unfolded since then?
what do you recommend?
1. Forget her...Don't call at all

2. Call her to wish her a quick happy b-day- no card.

3. At least send an ecard...or card...

4. Stupid one: drop off a cheap bouquet of flowers...

5. drink Tequila, hire a mariachi band and have them sing "I am over you" "So glad you are gone from my life" "You will recognize your mistakes and come back begging me" theme songs....:D

I send ecards to friends I like but don't want to confuse about emotional issues.

Anything in person means you took time to think of them. Not always a good idea if waters are murky.

I think I will just mail a card..to show that I once cared for her...

Its a nice gesture, I guess.
