What are some signs that a girl is interested in you?

I've known this girl for as long as I could remember. We started talking on AIM and we pretty much talk nonstop. We text each other every now and then.

We were texting today and I told her I had to get ready for a football game and she said text me the score. Does that mean she wanted me to text her to talk to her or text her just for the score? We did end up texting each other for a while but j/w about some thoughts.

While we were talking we had plans to go the movies with a group of friends but that didn't happen. She texted me a smile face saying she wanted to go tommorow. I don't know if she meant with a big group of people of with just a couple people because everyone thought that I wasn't gonna go so the went without us.

and just in general how would I know if this girl is interested in me? btw she's a good friend of my sister's so it makes it kind of awkward..

simple, try NOT txting her for a bit of time... let's say 2/3 weeks, and see how she's respond to that
make yourself BZ in that couple of time, just to show her how empty she was without you,IF she's into you...

^^that sounds like a VERY bad idea to me.
2-3 weeks?! shell figure ur uninterested and move on.
now 2/3 days, thats different.

i say, ask her if she meant just the 2 of you or you guys and friends.

i didn't talk to her for about a week and during that she has stopped talking to a guy she was talking to.

i asked her how she saw me and she was like idk and I asked if we were just friends bc she's like my sisters bf. she said ya soooo, ya i gotta just get over it now.

she likes you. I think no one would waste their time conversing in text messages if your not into that person.

I can see why you're confused. I certainly would be, too.

Do you guys see each other in school or anything? If so, try conversating (I just coined a word =]) more, try to see if there's anything going on.

Well, just observe how she acts around with her other guy friends, and if it seems like she acts differently around you say... Nicer, weirder, louder, meaner, happier ect. That might be a sign.

Also, try not to answer her texts for a few days and see what she does.
