One of my very favorite authors, Tony Hillerman, died. :(
He wrote incredibly about the southwest and had insight into it's magic. No i'm not crying, but i'm thinking about it.

I never read anything he wrote, but I love the region of the country he talks about. Maybe I'll look him up sometime.
Anyway, I know how you feel - I was REALLY bummbed out about Paul Newman, but it seems silly to mourn a complete stranger...

One of my favorite authors died just recently, too. David Foster Wallace. He commited suicide. So sad when talented people die before their time. :(
On his gravestone should be a 3,000 word footnote.
