Do you think that if you had never met your ex, that your life would be better? Was it wasted time for you?

She was a bitch...but the lessons learned were priceless.

so it wasn't wasted time for you aj. what did you learn aj? how will the lessons stop you from falling for them again?

No I'm stoked I met all my ex's. I've never understood the term "failed relationship", because most relationships are temporary arrangements. I expect them to end, it's the nature of the beast. And to be fair, most of my girlfriends have been great people and knowing them was a positive experience.

I learned that I was a young dumb ass.
I learned my ex was a cheating whore and bitch.
I learned to not let tons of sign pass in front of my face that she was cheating on me and ignore them.
I learned I don't have to put up with crap from a woman.
I learned that breakups aren't the end of the world.
I learned that when things go bad it's good to keep some friends around and never let a girlfriend/boyfriend get in the way of you hanging out with them.
I learned how to kiss.
I learned how to please a woman...to an extent.
I learned that relationships are hard and require time and work.
I learned that I should never let a relationship affect my self esteem and confidence.
I learned that I don't need a relationship.
I learned that I deserved better.

Lastly...I learned I made mistakes in that relationship as well.

There's more, but I can't really think of any more at the moment.

Even though some of memories of exes aren't entirely pleasant I am glad to have had the experiences. Because I really appreciate how great my partner is.

I'm glad I met my exes and wouldn't do anything different if I had the chance to. Sure I hate her for now but we've been through so much together and even learnt so much together.

It's sad to see we were that naive but also sad that we aren't anymore.
