PC will rain supreme forever. Though when it comes to console the original PSone is still king. Had the best hits for console.
Yep I'm all for PC as well *hugs computer*
other than that I had a blast on my Atari!
PC's always been my favorite. Console games are too simple for me. I did love the hell out of my NES back in the day, though.
yeahh thats true, i forgot all about PC's haha, mainly due to the fact i wasnt allowed a computer until i moved out and bought my own.. and yes PSone dominated for its time, hard to believe that were close to a grands worth (AUD) when you look at the quality of gaming consoles these days for the same price.Quote:

I like my penis.
I still love my 360. Anything from the standard shooter and things, to all they have to offer on the Xbox Live Arcade. I orginally bought it just to play some of the games on XBLA.
Though, the N64 was the split screen multiplayer king. I miss those days.
I had an Atari back in the day & played the original Indiana Jones game. There was a pixellated snake that would make munching sounds when you touched it & your character disappeared, lol.
EDIT: damn that was a 'I'm so dated, now' post.
dont we all, boobaa dont we all..Quote:

Perfect Dark was easily better than Golden Eye in every way.
Perfect Dark was built off of Golden Eye. There are quite a few reused things in Perfect Dark that came from Golden Eye. They were both developed by Rare as well. So basically a lot of things that didn't get squeezed into Golden Eye got put in Perfect Dark. Golden Eye also had quite a few things missing that never got finished up. So yes, graphics and gameplay were much better...but Golden Eye is a classic, it is one of the first most popular FPS's.Quote:

*edit*
I just realized those pages are down now. :( They had soo much cool stuff on those games.
The Golden Eye days. Wow. I remember playing that with my friends so much. I also remember classics like Diablo for PC and Star Craft. Can't wait for the new ones. Anyone remember a game called Killer Instinct. Pretty much any Zelda is also classic to me.Quote:

I understand PD was virtually an updated Golden Eye, but they improved significantly in every way. Graphics, sounds, multiplayer options, BOTS (with different personalities!), challenges...so much! I feel like I haven't seen a game that packed so much into a game since then.Quote:

I wish when they remade PD for the Xbox they just updated the graphics and controls, because that's all they would've had to have done to have me buy it. Golden Eye will always have a special place in people's hearts because it was the first console FPS that was worth playing.
