Yeah...this is your typical "what do I do" question...

So here goes...after years and years of trying to date within my small town I have given up. It seems as though everyone knows everyone elses business...and it just gets old....

so heres the problem...

I met this girl who lives a little under an hour away (not a problem) and she is pretty cool. I really am digging this girl. Shes cute and funny. My age. We share similar interests...etc...etc.

but there is this catch...

she has a kid...roughly two years of age. the father has been outta the picture since the conception...and she has a seemingly crazy ex.

now Im a firm beliver in love for everyone who deserves it and such... and I think she is just adorable. My friends dont seem to agree with me that dating a girl with a kid is even fathomable...

we have the initial meeting thing...and my feelers seems to indicate that she might be up for something...but I just dont know where to begin here...

advice anyone?

21 and 22 respectively

I think you are a bit too young to be playing Daddy to someone else's kids. Aren't you a student as well?

Don't date a girl with children, unless you're serious about spending the rest of your life with them.

Be considerate of the child. It's very hard to grow up with fatherly figures walking in and out of your life, confusing you.
