Need Help with a Christmas gift

I am looking into a radar detector for my boyfriend for xmas.

Can anyone recommend one?

I am not good at this kind of stuff.

Good luck. I personally use the Valentine 1. The directional arrows are great. But these things aren't cheap. Brand new, the V1 is $415. The 9500 is a little more but has GPS functionality to eliminate false alarms.

Not cheap but they are top of the line.

Me personally, i just bought a street bike for my speed addiction and haven't had a ticket since I bought it.

What the hell is a radar detector anyways?

Sounds like military equipment to detect pings.

It detects police radar guns so you don't get caught and can slow down before they can get your speed.

Ah...Meh, sod that.
