Asking 1st date question
This is more of a general question, but I was curious, for someone in college, what is a 'normal' amount of time, after first meeting someone, to ask them on a date?
To clarify where this question is coming from, I am somewhat interested in someone (the usual illogical kind of interested :D ), but I am curious if asking someone on a date despite not knowing them that long is frowned upon / doomed for failure. What are your opinions on this?
My last experience, about a month ago, I asked someone out, and after 2 dates it was obvious the chemistry wasn't there... This was the only instance where I asked while not knowing the girl that long (or knowing she was actively interested in me)... so yah. Any help would be appreciated :)

Umm there is no such thing as a "normal" amount of time to wait. Wait however long you want to although sooner is generally better than longer. Just start talking to the girl and then slip in the asking out to a date.
Don't wait too long because that path leads to the friend zone.
