no it's not, looks are very important. do you want to make love to a horse? it's our individual need to make ourselves presentable for our mates.
Attitude + Good Looks trumps Good Looks. Attitude + Average Looks trumps Good looks.
Pretty much most of what people find attractive is posture, body language, and confidence. If you exude these traits, your looks can become almost secondary.
yeah right.Quote:

Without attractive looks there is no attraction. Without attraction there is no relationship.
Ofcourse attractive looks are not everything, there are a whole range of other important things in the mix, but it's definitely a prerequisite. Granted, everyone's "idea" of what is "attractive" is different.
Unless you're dealing with shallow people that is. Sorry, forgot the caveat.Quote:

i know people who are dry and dumb as hell. but are popular due to sheer appearance
Alot of people especially teenagers during school tend to only date for looks as it is the 'in' thing to do, although as they mature they realise that their is alot more needed to have a successful relationship.
i think ugly people compromise a lot more therefore the successful relationship.Quote:

Do you actually want a public critique of why I rated you the way I did? Or would you rather have me leave it as, :You're just generally not the type of woman I find attractive."?? Sorry, I don't tailor my responses to a person's vanity.Quote:

I rate myself as maybe a little below average, possibly less these days as I'm carrying some extra weight that I need to lose. I don't even think that my outward personality is all that attractive. I'm shy, awkward in public and groups of people I don't know. I have a distinct personality that can be rather polarizing and overwhelming. People either really like me, or really hate me. There isn't much middle ground. Which has a lot to do with my general body language being reversed from many people. It can make them uncomfortable. I have a mole on my cheek that I hate, but it's been there since I was a child. Having it removed would produce a scar instead. I'd rather have the mole. My eyes appear too small due to the pronounced epicanthic folds. They're generally not that bright due to the gray color. My lips I've been told are nice for kissing, but I feel that my bottom lip is a little too big. My hair has cowlicks that make changing hair styles difficult. I have problems w/ my forehead and chin breaking out periodically. Oh, and I have large pores.
I was actually far uglier when I was younger. I feel I get better looking over time and age a bit.
How's that for honesty?
I think "ugly" people (if there is such a thing outside of our narrow - abstract concepts of beauty) see beauty differently. They are forced to live with themselves and find a way to recognize their features as beautiful, something they later on project onto their partners with similar features as themselves. There's also less pressure on them to find someone beautiful, just someone of their own type. I know if I was hideous I would probably see things this way.Quote:

I think different people are attracted to different things for varying reasons. And, is it a compromise if you simply have different standards by which you judge beauty? Some men are turned on by breasts. Others feet. So, you may look like Beyonce, but if you have hammer toe, they're not interested.Quote:

The most attractive woman I've ever slept with was also the dumbest. She uttered something that could commonly be heard in a trailer park mid-coitus. Instant erection killer. I got up, picked up my things, and left. Never said a word.
The biggest sex organ you have is your brain. If you're unable to use it, I'm not interested.
Yea, if you are a chick. Imma take me some shy girls, they wild in bed when they open up!Quote:
